The following are Frequently Asked Questions and Answers:
HOW DO I BOOK A PARTY? We book parties on a a first come first serve basis and we do not hold dates with out a deposit. A deposit of $75.00 is necessary to secure your date. The balance will be due on the day of the party.
AT WHAT TIME CAN MY PARTY START? Anytime. We will work with you to find a time that is appropriate for you.
IF A CHILD DOES NOT SHOW TO THE PARTY, WILL I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT CHILD?
If you have selected a dress up party then the answer is yes. The bill will be based on the final head count that you provide 4-5 days prior to the party. If you have selected our Character Party then it will not matter, since those packages are based on flat rates.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
For deposits, we accept Money Orders, or Major Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card or American Express, through Paypal). Party Balances that are made on the day of the party will only be accept in cash.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT THAT I HAVE TO CANCEL THE PARTY?
In the event that you have to cancel your party, you will lose your non-refundable $75.00 deposit.
CAN THE ADULTS PARTICIPATE IN THE PARTY AND GET THEIR FACES PAINTED?
It is against our policy to provide any adult forms of entertainment.
ARE THE SERVICES PERFORMED BY LICENSED SALON PROFFERSIONALS? The Services provided are not performed by licensed salon professionals and are only for entertainment purposes.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
We are always devoted to the safety of your children and our staff. If the roads are unsafe, then we will make arrangements to schedule a new date and time. If we can not accomidate you with a new date and time then your deposit will be refunded.
LIABILITY:Please be advised that we assume no responsibility or liability to accidents or damages caused during your party to your guests or your property. Your party host/entertainer will work to ensure that your home and guests are treated with care; however, liability will lie strictly with the client.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS: We assume no responsibility for allergic reactions. Guests should inform the client of any allergic reactions.
SUPERVISION: It is the responsibility of the client, guest and/or guests' parent or guardian to supervise all activities relating to the entertainment especially the dress up portion of the party.
WHAT HAPPENS TO LATE ARRIVALS? Our parties are based on a schedule and it is very important that guests arrive on time.
GOOD BEHAVIOR AND PARTICIPATION: We are responsible for engaging the guests in constant activity and can not be responsible for behavior issues. If a guest does not wish to participate, then a parent will need to tend to that guest. We cannot take time away from the kids that are participating to deal with a child who does not want to join in the party.
CAN WE HAVE A BOUNCE HOUSE OR SOME KIND OF ADDITIONAL ENTERTAINMENT AT OUR PARTY? Please refrain from providing additional forms of entertainment during our portion of your entertainment. Please schedule other forms of entertainment to comense after we have concluded out entertainment.
OUTLETS/EXTENSION CORDS: The client is responsible for providing an outlet and extension cords. We provide the radio & Karaoke machine, etc... This is mandatory for out door parties or outside venues.
WHAT SHOULD THE PARTY GUESTS WEAR? We provide dress-up costumes that go directly over the childrens own clothing. This eliminates the need for a special area for guests to gets undressed!
WHAT TIME SHOULD THE PARTY GUESTS ARRIVE? Please have the guests arrive on time as we cannot go back on activities for late comers.
WHEN WILL I NEED TO CONTACT YOU WITH THE FINAL HEAD COUNT? We need to know at least 4 -5 days prior to the party date. Your bill will be based on your final head count (Does not apply to the Character Parties).
CAN THE GUESTS' PARENTS STAY FOR THE PARTY? Yes! The parents can stay as long as the noise level is kept to a minimum.
CAN FOOD BE SERVED TO THE CHILDREN? Please refrain from serving food during our entertainment. Food can be served before or after the children take off their costumes(this does not apply to the tea-parties or character parties).
WHAT ARE THE AGES OF THE CHILDREN THAT CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE PARTIES? The best ages are for children ages 2-11
DO YOU DO MAKE-UP/FACEPAINTING? Yes we can do make-up, and or face painting. Make-up consist of a light application of eye shadow, blush & lip gloss. Mascara or liners are not used and we use disposable applicators without "double dipping". If a parent/client does not wish for their child to participate in activities involving makeup, it is up to the parent/ client to inform us.
WHAT DO I AS THE CLIENT NEED TO SUPPLY? We require one small table for make up or face painting. We also require a table and folding chairs for our tea parties, and a table with chairs for our spa parties.
ARE BOYS WELCOME? Boys are always welcome! They can be knights or pirates.
CAN THE SIBLINGS OF THE GUESTS PARTICIPATE IN THE PARTY? Siblings of the guests are always welcomed. Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate siblings as we prepare our dress up packages based on the final head count. ****This does not apply to the princess character parties.
WHERE IS THE PARTY BE HELD? We come directly to you!
WHAT HAPPENS IF A QUEST BECOMES ILL? If a guest should become ill or simply not show up, there will be no refunds given. The party is based on a package price and not per per individual.
CAN THE PARTY BE HELD OUTSIDE? Weather permitting, we can perform your birthday party outdoors. The birthday party should take place in a clean non- grassy/non-dirty area for our entertainment. The weather should be between 70 and 79 degrees. If the weather is below 70 degrees then the entire party should be held indoors. If the weather is above 79 degrees then certain parts of the party will have to be held indoors.
PARTIES IN RESTAURANTS & CATERING HALLS: Sure! We can certainly do a party for you that is outside your home.
PARKING: Please provide us with a parking spot on your drive way to load and unload our supplies. If the party is not held at your home, then please make sure that there is a place close to the entrance for us to load and unload.
WHAT TYPE OF CRAFTS DO YOU DO? The crafts and/or games will be age appropriate and theme-oriented.
HOW MUCH DO I TIP? The gratuity is not included in the package price. We recommend a standard gratuity based on the total party amount of 10% to 20% at your discretion.
GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETING YOUR EVENT: In the event that all the key elements of your performance have been completed & there are 10 or more minutes remaining, then the entertainers will add an additional activity of your choice.
